Komatsu is a globally known manufacturer of high quality construction machines and equipment. At the beginning of its existence, Komatsu was a part of another company, and in 1921 became an independent manufacturer of high quality machines used in various industries. From 1930, Komatsu began a production of agricultural machines, such as tractors. Few years later, the first construction machines were produced, like the bulldozers and the Komatsu excavators. Until 1988, Komatsu was in partnership with Dresser Industries, and together they produced high quality mining machines and equipment. Komatsu Excavators. The Komatsu excavators are extremely efficient machines that are used for digging and extracting earth from the ground. Komatsu designs and produces excavators of all sizes and forms, and they can be found on every major construction site all over Australia and beyond. From all Komatsu excavators, the most commonly used are the wheeled excavator and the minimal swing radius excavator. The wheeled excavator is actually an excavator part that is mounted on a special vehicle that allows easy movements around the job site. The minimal swing radius Komatsu excavators are limited in their movement, but ensure increased safety on the construction site.
The mini excavators from Komatsu as their name suggests, are designed to dig and extract small portions of earth from the ground, but are equally efficient like the large Komatsu excavators. They are small and therefore suitable for projects on small areas, or for areas where the large Komatsu excavators cannot access.
Backhoe Loader. The backhoe loaders from Komatsu come with a strong and durable metal bucket at the front which is generally used for loading/unloading and moving different kinds of materials or objects. At the back of the loader there is a backhoe attachment which can be used for digging and extracting earth from the ground just like the Komatsu excavators. For increased stability when digging or when loading materials, the backhoe loaders use outriggers. The biggest benefit of the Komatsu backhoe loaders is the fact the only one machine is needed for performing different tasks, like loading, unloading, digging and moving materials from one location to another. The use of only one machine for different tasks saves time and money.
Komatsu also produces wheeled loaders which are also commonly used for different tasks. These machines are generally used for picking and moving the materials that have been excavated from the ground. The Komatsu wheeled loaders have many uses, like building works, farming, snow removing etc. Their biggest benefit is that they can move easily from site to site, eliminating the need for additional transportation equipment.
